From 20 to 25 October 2019 young people from all over the world will gather in Brabant for the 4th edition of DCLivingLab.
DCLivingLab is powered by the Districts of Creativity (DC) Network and offers the opportunity to work in an international team on existing societal challenges. It is held during the annual Creativity World Forum. The 2019 edition will be organised by BrabantDC in partnership with Rotary ‘s-Hertogenbosch-West and the Rotary International network. This edition of the CWF will therefore take place in Brabant, The Netherlands.

We want to hear about your challenge!

All over the world global issues generate local challenges: how do we make the right choices today for a sustainable world tomorrow? Can we use high tech solutions without widening the digital gap? How do we include migrants without losing identity? What if we could reduce CO2 emissions while still traveling the world?

These are global issues, yet locally addressed in different ways from different perspectives. For DCLivingLab 2019 we invite you to bring along your own local challenge and your own dreams for the future, to Brabant. During the exchange we will work on 10 selected challenges together!

Who’s organising the DCLivingLab?

The DCLivingLab is one of the core activities of the Districts of Creativity Network, a global network connecting regions throughout the world to share and develop practices on stimulating creativity in society to foster innovation and prosperity.  The DCLivingLab travels through the member regions and is each time organised by an individual member in partnership with regional partners. The 2019 edition is organised by BrabantDC in partnership with Rotary District 1550 and Koning Willem I College. The DCLivingLab will take place in Brabant (The Netherlands) During CWF2019.

Previous editions of the DCLivingLab have been held in Antwerp (Belgium), Noord-Brabant (Netherlands) and Aarhus (Denmark).
